Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager NONWOVENS (f/m/d)

Your Mission

  • You position our NONWOVENS business unit as a trusted advisor and solution provider that creates measurable added value for our customers—at all decision-making levels and in an international environment.
  • As the central contact person and coordinator for your key account, you are responsible for the targeted establishment, further development, and monetization of long-term customer relationships
  • You will manage your customer base independently and holistically – from analyzing customer-specific challenges and identifying value-creating solutions to providing application-related advice, training, preparing quotations, and clarifying orders.
  • With your understanding of customer value streams, you will initiate and manage customer-oriented projects that maximize the benefits of our solutions and create clear competitive advantages.
  • You will act as a driver for cross-functional collaboration to develop tailor-made, economically compelling customer solutions together with Engineering, Operations, and Service.
  • Through the consistent implementation of a value-selling approach, you will actively contribute to profitable growth and always keep an eye on budget and KPI targets.
  • You will create sales and potential plans, conduct market and competition analyses, and drive the structured expansion of the sales and customer landscape in your area.
  • Travel of approx. 30–50% within the sales area is required.

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in engineering or a comparable qualification.
  •  You have several years of experience in key account management in the mechanical engineering or technology industry.
  •  You are characterized by strategic thinking, analytical judgment, strong negotiation skills, and experience in project management.
  •  You have intercultural skills and enjoy working in international and cross-functional teams.
  •  You have excellent communication skills in German and English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  •  Initiative, enthusiasm, team spirit, and willingness to travel complement your profile.
