Ihre Aufgaben

Verantwortung für Entwicklung, Pflege und Weiterentwicklung der Systemarchitektur unter Berücksichtigung von Standardisierung, Modularisierung und Ressourceneffizienz.
Bewertung technischer Alternativen und Auswahl der optimalen Architektur gemäß entwicklungsweiten Kriterien.
Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Lösungsstrategien für neue Anforderungen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungsteams und Product Ownern.
Dokumentation der Architektur als verbindliche Grundlage sowie Sicherstellung der Nachverfolgbarkeit und Umsetzung durch Delegation von Arbeitspaketen.
Identifikation, Bewertung und Minimierung von Architekturrisiken mittels geeigneter Maßnahmen (z. B. Prototypen, TRL-Qualifizierungen).
Abstimmung und Harmonisierung mit anderen Architekten sowie fachlich-technische Steuerung externer Dienstleister im Hinblick auf Qualität, Termine und Standards.

Ihr Profil

Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik, Automatisierungstechnik, Softwareentwicklung oder vergleichbare Qualifikationen
Fundierte Kenntnisse in der IPC-Programmierung (C#/WPF) sowie in SPS-Systemen (z. B. Sigmatek LASAL, IEC 61131-3)
Erfahrung in Netzwerktechnik, insbesondere mit Feldbussen und Ethernet-basierten Protokollen
Gute Kenntnisse in Automatisierungs- und Steuerungstechnik, insbesondere im Maschinenbau
Verständnis für echtzeitfähige Systeme, elektrische Komponenten und Schaltpläne
Sicherer Umgang mit Versionsverwaltung und Software-Testmethoden
Analytische, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie Kommunikations- und Teamstärke
Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your mission

Responsibility for developing and maintaining the system architecture, taking into account standardization, modularization, and resource efficiency
Evaluation of technical alternatives based on development criteria and selection of the preferred architecture
Development of solution strategies for new requirements in close cooperation with the development team
Documentation and implementation of the architecture as a binding basis for collaboration with development teams, product owners, and other architects
Delegation of work packages and ensuring traceability and documentation of implementation
Identification and minimization of architectural risks through appropriate measures (e.g., functional models, prototypes, TRL qualifications)
Active exchange and coordination with other architects to harmonize and standardize company-wide architectures
Technical management of external service providers and ensuring timely implementation in accordance with agreed quality and acceptance criteria

Your profile

Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, software development or comparable qualifications
In-depth knowledge of IPC programming (C#/WPF) and PLC systems (e.g., Sigmatek LASAL, IEC 61131-3)
Experience in network technology, especially with fieldbuses and Ethernet-based protocols
Good knowledge of automation and control technology, especially in mechanical engineering
Understanding of real-time systems, electrical components, and circuit diagrams
Confident use of version management and software testing methods
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
Good written and spoken German and English
