- Ensuring on-time delivery capability and adherence to delivery schedules within the value stream
- Managing and prioritizing the production schedule while taking into account capacity, material availability, and delivery dates
- Planning and sequencing production orders to optimize production capacity utilization
- Maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing MRP parameters such as lot sizes, safety stock levels, and lead times
- Analyzing and continuously improving planning, control, and material flow processes
- Developing and implementing alternative production scenarios in the event of disruptions or bottlenecks
- Escalating and coordinating in the event of capacity bottlenecks, material shortages, or quality issues to ensure stable operations

Your Profile
- Completed technical vocational training, ideally in mechanical engineering
- Advanced training leading to certification as a state-certified technician (mechanical engineering) is desirable
- Alternatively: comparable technical qualifications with relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in production planning / production control
- Experience in an industrial environment (ideally in variant production)
- Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally ABAS
- Knowledge of production planning and control tools (PPS/MES)
