Production Control Associate (m/f/d)

Your Mission

  • Ensuring on-time delivery capability and adherence to delivery schedules within the value stream
  • Managing and prioritizing the production schedule while taking into account capacity, material availability, and delivery dates
  • Planning and sequencing production orders to optimize production capacity utilization
  • Maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing MRP parameters such as lot sizes, safety stock levels, and lead times
  • Analyzing and continuously improving planning, control, and material flow processes
  • Developing and implementing alternative production scenarios in the event of disruptions or bottlenecks
  • Escalating and coordinating in the event of capacity bottlenecks, material shortages, or quality issues to ensure stable operations

Your Profile

  • Completed technical vocational training, ideally in mechanical engineering
  • Advanced training leading to certification as a state-certified technician (mechanical engineering) is desirable
  • Alternatively: comparable technical qualifications with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of experience in production planning / production control
  • Experience in an industrial environment (ideally in variant production)
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally ABAS
  • Knowledge of production planning and control tools (PPS/MES)
