Your Mission

Do you enjoy developing procurement strategies, providing expert advice to internal departments, and realizing sustainable savings and optimization opportunities? Then you’ve come to the right place! Join our procurement team and apply your expertise where it counts:

  • Independently managing and further developing defined product groups with a focus on non-production materials, services, and capital goods (Capex), as well as selected production-related product groups
  • Developing and implementing product group and procurement strategies while taking global market and supplier structures into account
  • Selecting, evaluating, and continuously developing suppliers
  • Conducting contract and price negotiations with a focus on costs, quality, and delivery reliability
  • Initiating and implementing cost optimization and value analysis projects to achieve our cost-reduction targets through the systematic identification of savings potential, the development of robust action plans, and their successful implementation within the supplier and corporate environments
  • Close collaboration with internal departments such as Production, Development, Quality Management, and IT to develop cost-effective and sustainable procurement solutions and establish them within the company on a long-term basis
  • Conducting market and trend analyses to identify potential for innovation, digitalization, and cost savings
  • Contribute to the internationalization and further development of our supplier base in line with the global procurement strategy
  • Play an active role in the implementation of modern technologies and AI-based tools to increase efficiency and transparency in procurement

Your Profile

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement in a manufacturing environment; experience in procuring non-production materials, services, and capital goods (Capex) is desirable
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in international supplier management
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, as well as a confident demeanor
  • Openness to digital innovations and initial experience with AI-supported applications is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and an independent, structured approach to work
  • Business-level proficiency in German and very good written and spoken English
